Ling Fan is an architect, critic, and educator based in Beijing. He is an Assistant Professor in the School of Architecture at Central Academy of Fine Arts and directing Crystal Design Center, an interdisciplinary and innovative design research and practice platform.

Ling Fan received a Master of Architecture degree from Princeton University. He has written extensively on contemporary architecture and urban topics for 306090, A+U, Abitare, Area, Architects, Domus, Pidgin, Time + Architecture, Grand Design, among other publications, and he is a guest editor for Time + Architecture and A+U.
